This is a video essay I made while I was at UAL studying Culture, Criticism and Curation. It is about my grandfather Erhabor Emokpae and his role in shaping the visual identity of FESTAC ‘77.
It was featured in the Afterall Exhibition Histories and its Worlds exhibition at the Inside-Out Museum in Shanghai.

Over The Edge is a short film about Uche and Osaze, a young Nigerian couple living in London in the late 60s with their daughter, Iggy. On a quiet Sunday afternoon, they receive a worrying letter from home. Iggy decides to eavesdrop on her parents' conversation, putting herself in a dangerous position.
